For lovers of beautiful cultural heritages or for those who would like to find a church for their wedding, there is a very beautiful and charming church in Maulde, listed since1987.
The church is of Gothic style, although in its main part one can still find a Romano-ogival transitional architecture; it has retained this character despite the transformations and alterations it has undergone over the centuries.
In its current state, the building consists of two clearly defined parts; on the one hand, the remains of the Romano-ogival period (dating back to the first half of the 13th century), including the central nave, the sanctuary, the side aisles, the chapel of the virgin to the North of the choir, probably from a time close to the primitive (early) church era; on the other hand, constructions from the beginning of the 15th century, with the tower and the chapel of St Catherine and the extension of the choir; it was further modified in the 17th century, where major renovations were carried out on the side aisles, then undergoes further modifications in the 18th century.
